Kaohsiung is a modern city, just south of Taiwan where you can find beautiful wide streets, luscious parks, and gorgeous beaches all together despite being so close to such dense forest.
The impeccable public transport system, Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transport (KMRT) makes it super easy to get a around or for the more adventurous you could always try cycling using one of the city's many cycle lanes.

Although predominantly a Port city, Kaohsiung has greatly developed over recent years to become a culturally diverse tourist destination. With fabulous shopping centres, wide open streets and gorgeous beaches and forest, it really does tick all the boxes.
